Ramapo College is New Jersey’s public liberal arts college. Established in 1969, Ramapo is located in Mahwah, New Jersey and offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. In 2012, Ramapo introduced its Master of Business Administration (MBA). Other graduate programs include the Master of Science in Educational Technology (MSET), Master of Arts in Educational Leadership (MAEL), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS), Master of Arts in Special Education (MASE), Master of Social Work (MSW), and starting in fall 2017, the Master of Science in Accounting (MSAC).

SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Ramapo College offers a combined five-year program in Accounting in which students pursue an undergraduate course of study in accounting before starting with graduate courses during the spring of their senior year. They receive their bachelor’s degree after four years, and their master’s in five, providing them with the 150 credits necessary to sit for the New Jersey CPA exam.

ADMISSIONS
All applicants for graduate programs at Ramapo College must have the following in order to apply:
- A completed Graduate Application - online or PDF
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a recommended grade point average of 3.0.
- A 250-word personal statement or essay describing why the candidate is interested in the program, how it fits into personal intellectual development, and what the applicant expects to accomplish by enrolling.
- Two letters of recommendation
- Resume
- A check or money order payable to Ramapo College of New Jersey for $60 must be included with each applicant’s application materials. All applicants are required to print their name on the front of the check or money order.
There are also application requirements specific to each of Ramapo College of NJ”s individual graduate programs, as follows:

- Valid RN license

For Ramapo College undergraduate students pursuing the five-year B.S. to M.S. program, must be a Ramapo College accounting major with a minimum cumulative and accounting major GPA of 3.0; have a minimum grade of B- in Intermediate Accounting I and Federal Taxation I. There are also specific requirements for international students who plan to enroll in graduate programs at Ramapo:

CAREER SERVICES AND PLACEMENT
Ramapo College offers career services through the Cahill Career Development Center, which has two on-campus locations: the main office in Room C-209 of the Academic Complex, and a satellite office in the Anisfield School of Business, ASB-513. Graduate students are encouraged to visit the Cahill Center for assistance with deciding which internship to pursue, where to obtain valuable fieldwork experience, and what opportunities in the workplace are available following the completion of a degree program.

FINANCIAL AID
Ramapo College offers financial aid to students pursuing master’s degrees. All Ramapo students interested in applying for financial aid should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit by March 1. No other application forms are required. By complying with this priority deadline, graduate students will be prepared to contact the Office of Financial Aid to discuss loan eligibility and borrowing options well in advance of the tuition payment deadlines.
Although graduate students are ineligible for Federal or State grant programs, they may borrow up to $20,500 annually under the Federal Direct Stafford Loan programs. To qualify for the Federal Direct Stafford Loan, graduate students must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours per semester.

Ramapo College is located in Mahwah, New Jersey, in the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains just south of the New Jersey/New York border. With its interdisciplinary academic structure, its student population of approximately 6,000, and its pastoral setting, Ramapo provides the opportunity for students to receive an elite education at the cost of a public college.
CAMPUS FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
A campus-wide building program during recent years has resulted in the completion of the Adler Center for Nursing Excellence in 2015. This state-of-the-art facility features simulation rooms, where students will learn to address emergencies involving training-aide “patients”. Additionally, it features an Anatomy and Physiology lab as well as several computer labs and general-purpose classrooms.
The Anisfield School of Business features a real time global markets trading center and serves as a central feature of the main entrance of the campus; the Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center, with its 2,200-seat arena, fitness center, climbing wall, track and dance/aerobics studios; the Overlook and Laurel residence halls and the Village apartment complex. The Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts, completed in 1999, houses performance theaters, art galleries, and specialized spaces devoted to fine arts, computer art, photography, theater, dance, and music. The Sharp Sustainability Education Center and the Salameno Spiritual Center were completed in 2009.
