Career Experience
I have a background in engineering but found my calling in tutoring math. Years of tutoring math have helped me gain invaluable insight into how students think and approach the problem-solving process. I continue to find the tutoring experience just as interesting and mentally stimulating today as I did when I was new to the world of online tutoring and enjoy learning from my students too! My overall tutoring experience is varied. Besides online tutoring, I have tutored in person as well: elementary school students in English and math at my public library; taught high school geometry to a student seeking admission to a prestigious magnet school; and coached high school juniors in test-prep. I currently tutor K-12 math, which includes students from first grade who are finding their ways into the magical world of numbers to students learning elementary and middle school math, Algebra I, Algebra II, geometry, trigonometry, test-prep, and student success.
I Love Tutoring Because
it just makes my day when students realize math is enjoyable. As a student exclaimed: "This is so much fun when it makes sense!" I couldn't put it better if I tried.
