Career Experience
I began my tutoring career in high school. I began tutoring Spanish, as I had acquired the language quickly and was eager to use my love for language to help my fellow students. I tutored both Spanish to my native English-speaking peers and English as a second language to my native Spanish speaking peers. Later, during my undergraduate studies, I served as a tutor in the German department. My tutoring career has provided me with opportunities to work with a diverse range of students with different needs, challenges, learning disabilities, and goals, which taught me to approach every tutoring session with an open mind. Combined, I have over 3 years of tutoring experience, and looking forward to many more!
I Love Tutoring Because
during my undergraduate studies, I served as a tutor in the German department. This was the most rewarding part of my college experience. Nothing makes me happier than helping someone reach that “Aha!” moment when they grasp a concept they’d previously struggled with, or having a student show me a high test score. Helping students build confidence in themselves is why I tutor!
