Career Experience

I have been teaching upper level mathematics, including Algebra I and II, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus AB and BC, for over 20 years. I hold educator certificates from both Georgia and Indiana.

I Love Tutoring Because

every student learns differently. Working with students one-on-one allows me to meet their individual needs so that they are successful in learning the content, as well as building their confidence as a mathematics student.

I wish I would have been more prepared to type out the answers to the interviewer's questions. I suppose I imagined I would mostly discuss the 7 tenets rather than writing them.

This particular tutor is absolutely amazing. She was very patient and understanding. She helped me to understand the concept of math in many ways. She took her time to explain everything. I think she should actually be teaching math here at the college. You guys should really consider that.
